Catching up.....Part I

Well, let just say that Randy and I have had a very adventurous year. Starting last September we started the long and tedious task of applying to Pharmacy school (and when I say we, I mean I filled out all the paperwork and he had the interviews). We applied to 5 schools and were ask to interview at three. One interview was in Amarillo at Texas Tech. The other two required trips to Kingsville, TX and San Antonio, TX. If anyone knows me, they know I am always up for a trip to some place new. After Randy's interviews, which usually took half a day or more, we would go and enjoy the sights. It was a great time for us to spend some time together and really think about what we wanted and were would be the best place for us if we were accepted to that school.

We were blessed enough to be accepted into the Texas Tech School of Pharmacy, which is a huge blessing! I don't know how we would have paid for the moving expenses and moving 3 large dogs. Would you rent a house to someone with 3 large dogs? I didn't think so.....beside we are blessed with loving parents and in-laws. Paula and Dick, Randy's parents, are kind enough to let us live in Nanny's house free of rent. We love you guys!!!

While we were in Kingsville, Tx we decided to take short 25 min trip to Corpus Christi, TX. We thought about staying in Kingsville one more night but soon realized that Kingsville is a glorified Hereford. Some of you will understand. Let me just put it this way, there was more furniture in the fronts yards than there was in the actually house.....if you want to call them houses. Nice campus.....not to great on the living accommodations.

Gulf Coast

Me looking at something

An awesome boat......I was super excited about this boat.
What is this......yes it is the same kind plane that was in "Top Gun". My all time favorite movie!!!

Moving on to bigger and better things...... Well my dogs thought this was pretty great and they closed the college campus so I did not have to work and Randy did not have to go to school. This happened sometime in April. IT SNOWED......Alot!
George (above) and Belle (below) love the snow! They would be content just hanging out watching all the cars go by and sniffing the cold air. However, our black dog (Mary Ann), is a bit of a snow snob and would never be caught dead frolicking in the that white stuff. If it is below 50 degrees and it is time to go outside she sticks her head out the doggie door and then immediately turns around to go cuddle up in her warm bed and blankets.

After the snow cleared and I recovered from all of our trips here and there I decided to make the trek to Georgia to see Shari and Rachel. It was great to get together and reminisce about college days. It was like we had never been apart. I love you guys! Needless to say we had some pretty crazy times. For example, crying at a silly movie, taking Twizler teeth pictures and staying up way to late! Here is a cute picture of the Lilli and Alice when we picked strawberries.

Well that covers through the end of May. I will be back.

Help!

Hello everyone! It's been a super long time since I've blogged about anything and I am sorry. I am going to make one more go at this and hope that it will stick. I will do my best to updated everyone on what has happened the last 8 months and post some pictures as well.

However, when I changed my template I lost all of my fellow bloggers. If you don't mind me viewing your blog, please list your blog address in the comments.
